Water is the main highlight of Rock Island State Park, with rushing waterfalls and deep, calm pools set along the Collins and Caney Fork Rivers. There are 10 cabins available for rent just 1/2 mile from the Center Hill Lake, as well as 60 campsites. The lake has a natural sand beach that is popular with visitors, and throughout the summer the park sponsors weekly events such as volleyball competitions and live animal shows. It is located on 883 acres of land about 15 miles north of McMinnville.
